Vincent Price as The Saint

Vincent Price (May 27, 1911 – October 25, 1993) was the third voice and final voice of The Saint radio program which ran from July 9, 1947 to October 14, 1951.

At the beginning of the show a man can be heard walking down an echoed corridor and whistling the theme song for the Saint… The Saint, based on characters created by Leslie Charteris and known to millions from books, magazines, and motion pictures. Comedy of Terrors

Two unscrupulous undertakers (Vincent Price & Peter Lorre) find they are about to be evicted by their landlord (Basil Rathbone) for being a year late on rent. In order to drum up business, the dastardly duo sneak into the house of a wealthy elderly man, but when the bill comes due, his young widow skips town with the inheritance. When they set out to repeat the process, they receive a message from the landlord that the money was due in the morning. So they set off to kill two birds with one pillow.
