Karlini (1907-1963) Dutch magician (real name Ludwig Trinka) who performed mainly in Berlin prior to WWII. According to information from the late magic collector Christian Fechner, Karlini was twice imprisoned by the Nazis, and may have served as an important member of the French Underground.
