George W. Trendle, creator of the Lone Ranger and Green Hornet, was born this day 136 years ago.

What Next, Wendy?

Wendy Wagner, an original “Gold Coast Discovery”, has come a long way since her likeness last brightened the Sun Spots centerfold in 1963. The lissome brunette and one-time “Miss Venice of America” finalist has since launched a very promising career in television, where he aquatic and photogenic skills have been put to good use in such shows as “Sea Hunt” and “Flipper”. The Green Hornet’s Mike Axford

Tough talking Mike Axford has been a part of the Green Hornet cast from the beginning. The Irishman played various roles throughout his career, cop, bodyguard and reporter, and usually comic relief.
