The Million Eyes of Su-muru
Beautiful and deadly Su-muru (played by Shirley Eaton) has plans for world conquest by killing off the male leaders of the world and replacing them with women. In order to do so, she employs the use of her army of female assassins. The only thing standing in her way are two wisecracking CIA agents; Nick West (George Nader) and Tommy Carter (Frankie Avalon). Sapphire and Steel was a British TV sci-fi production that centered around two alien beings whose assignment was to guard the flow of time.
The show was a low budget affair that ran for four years, consisting of six serials. All six serials are currently playing on Tubitv.com

Remembering Werner Klemperer
Werner Klemperer (March 22, 1920 – December 6, 2000) is best known for his role as the bumbling Colonel Wilhelm Klink, a role he only agreed to take on with the condition that none of Klink’s schemes would ever succeed and that he would always wind up looking foolish. Klemperer, son of conductor Otto Klemperer, was born in Cologne, Germany in 1920. In 1935, while he was a teenager, he and his family emigrated from Germany and settled in Los Angeles. He later served in the U.S. Army from 1942-45. He has 95 acting credits to his name, including an uncredited cameo appearance the Batman episode called “It’s How You Play the Game.” (below)
