This non-amphibious “hybrid” boat-car was made by the French Peugeot company was boat hull mounted on a car chassis with a propeller, but no drive shaft. It was used as a mean of advertising their nautical branch, Peugeot Nautica.

A proposed $2,000,000 mid-ocean city to be established midway between Bordeaux, France and St. Johns, Newfoundland. The outer steel network would act as a breakwater, and the harbor inside would serve as a trans-Atlantic hydroplane station.
