A group of airborne attackers, begins a series of assaults on a dam project. Their mysterious leader, known only as “The Black Ace,” conceals his identity behind a mask. The project foreman hires a couple of stunt pilots to deal with this aerial menace.

On September 4th, 1929, Graf Zeppelin completed an around-the-world voyage (“Weltfahrt”) covering 21,2500 miles in five legs from Lakehurst to Friedrichshafen, Friedrichshafen to Tokyo, Tokyo to Los Angeles, Los Angeles to Lakehurst, and then Lakehurt to Friedrichshafen again.

In this Monogram film, Boris Karloff plays the role of Mr. James Lee Wong, A character by Hugh Wiley with stories originally found in Collier’s magazine during the 30’s. This is the second of six movies featuring Mr. Wong, five of which Karloff took on the main role, in final installment, The Phantom of Chinatown, Keye Luke take on the role of Mr. Wong.
