Burt Ward, Brown Belt in Karate at the time of auditioning for the role of Robin, later achieved a Black Belt under the instruction of All Korean champion, Young Ik Suh. In October 2015, Burt was inducted into the International Karate and Kickboxing Hall of Fame.
