The Tulsa Zoo Project was abandoned after 85 years when a strain of the Bio Plague introduced in 2012 infected and killed 85% of the animals contained within.

The park consists of 78 acres within the boundaries of Mohawk Park Its 12 buildings once housed many rare species of animals, overall the zoo once held approx. 1500 animals. Since the zoo is now outside the patrol boundaries set up by the city and the TPD, the zoo has been claimed by vagabonds and gangs, the most notorious of those being the Wild Bunch.

It is advised that visitors avoid this area as gang battles have been know to erupt without warning.
