Cybernetics do exist in METROPOLIS though the only mention we have is of C.W. Rotwang's arm. The primary use of cybernetics in METROPOLIS will be as prosthetic devices, replacing damaged limbs and organs. Obvious cyberware, with the exception of prosthetics are frowned upon by the city elite. METROPOLIS has laws banning the possession of cyber-weapons, so the medical clinics in the Upper city do not deal in them, the lower city on the other hand is a different story.
In the back alleyways of the lower city, small mobile shop exist that can, for a price, get any form of cyberware available, regardless of it's legality. because they are always moving around to avoid the corporate police a prospective client must first find a fixer to guide them in the right direction, this usually runs about 100 Marks. At the shop of the Black Market Dealers, the price for the cyberware is 50% higher than the standard rate, double if it is a cyber-weapon.
One must be wary of getting to cybered up in METROPOLIS, as one might find himself in the worker city.
